Hey there abode lovers and hooray for hump day! Wednesdays are the best, they give me hope that I can make it to Friday. We're almost there, we're almost there, we're almost there....
Anyway, get excited abode lovers, the jaguar/leopard mystery has been solved and the beginning of a new life with a show-stopping match holder has begun. Welcome to the abode jag, welcome.
Even after Mister Husband went to the trouble of gathering long matches, they were all falling out of jag's mouth when he arrived at the abode. So, Mister Hubbs went back out to the store and picked up a whole carton of emerald green tipped wooden matches. I tried to go myself on my lunch break and the guy at CVS was beyond confused. He tried to hand be a book of matches--- trying to explain to him why those wouldn't work was just ridiculous, so I left and handed the responsibility over to the Mister.
Here's a view from above. I love that photo of my little brother that I took in college.... so precious! It's quite the contrast to that ferocious jag but I love the pairing.
Can you see me glaring into my iPhone while I take this photo of my mini foyer? That's so attractive... ha! I just wanted to give you guys a good look at where the jag is living now.

Yay! Love that you found your jag and now have the proper matches. Mission complete! :) Can I ask you where you got that mirror?? I love it!! I've been on a mission for a mirror for our entryway area and just haven't found exactly what I want. Your mirror is the perfect look I'm going for! thanks.
ReplyDeleteHey Tara! Mister Husband got me that mirror a few years ago from a great store in Homewood, AL called At Home. They have a TON of great stuff there! Here is a link so that you can check them out. Have a great day!

I love your Jag. I would love to be as lucky and find one. There has to be a brother to him somewhere on ebay. Did the seller have any others?? I love your blog.
ReplyDeleteLove the match stick holder! Where do you light the match if you don't have the side of the box anymore? Do you just keep it nearby or is there a strip somewhere on the jag?
ReplyDeleteI actually cut out the "striking" strip from the box and taped it to the underside of the lid on the little green jar that's also sitting on the console. Even though it probably sounds a bit ghetto, it's easy access! Thanks for reading Abode Love!
DeleteI love him ... I also searched for him after I saw him in Lonny! I hope to find one of him someday too!!
ReplyDeletecocktails in the foyer + a jaguar matchstick holder = a great combination of sophistication and fun. i'm guessing you have some great parties at your place! xCathy
