Hello Abode Lovers! Well, this is NOT the post I was planning for the day-- but, I am SNOWED IN at my parent's abode-- so I could not post what I really wanted today. As some of you may know, my beloved Auburn Tigers are playing tonight in the BCS National Championship! Also, Saturday was officially named "Cameron Newton Day" in Alabama (While I write this, I am wearing a #2 Auburn Jersey thanks to my Mom-- and so is my little brother). So- Saturday I worked very hard on some updates to the Man Mountain. I will post them Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the status of these darn icy roads-- Hopefully, the post will be in celebration of a WIN!
Anyhow-- I also went to one of my favorite stores on Saturday and came across some amazing finds! Homegoods is the bomb. I almost always find a few great gems there... (I went for items for the Man Mountain and couldn't help myself...)

I purchased these Urns for the kitchen....
Yep-- that's right, they were $16.99 with an extra 25% off! THAT is quite a steal if you asked me!
Here are a few pretty images with urns...
Does this monkey vase count as an urn?? I LOVE this kitchen! and I LOVE the monkey-- it adds playfulness to such an elegant and sophisticated space.
Are you dying for a few white urns now? You can find them everywhere... these from Zgallerie are called the Mariposa Canisters and they range from $35-$100.
Have a great Monday-- I know I will be waiting for ice to melt & nervously awaiting the biggest football game of the year... wowwie-zowwie I'm nervous! War Eagle Abode Lovers!

Beautiful! Love your kitchen! The urns look fab against the backsplash! Where did you find that little vase? Perfect size for a windowsill?
ReplyDeleteYay for HomeGoods! Those are amazing, as is your kitchen.
ReplyDeleteGreat find! I have spotted a few earns at TJMaxx that I have been eyeing :)
ReplyDeleteHey Laura, the little vase is actually from Target! I think it was under $10-- quite a steal and it fits perfectly on the windowsill... thanks for reading!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check Target, thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh! Love these. They really add a sense of elegance and charm to any kitchen or bath, even!
ReplyDeleteWhen my friend Kirsten from 6th street design school posted about you! I just fell in love with your blog! love it love it love it! I had to share it on my blog if you don't mind! You are an amazing designer!
ReplyDeleteLove homegoods... haven't been in awhile. I might need to head that way once the ice melts!
ReplyDeleteI freaking love HomeGoods. Love!
ReplyDeleteHomegoods was meant for me! I absolutely love it to death! Most of my house comes from there! There are always such great finds!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I recently found your blog & began following it! My Prince & I bought our house almost two years ago, & it has been such a slow process turning it into a "home." It's such a big space, after living in small "student" spaces for so many years. & the temporary addition of toddler toys has been distracting. ;) But I am just delighted to have found the design blog of a fellow Alabama wife whose style is just so much like what I envision for our own house!
ReplyDeleteI love your kitchen! I always find fun things for the house at TJMaxx, so idk why I've never been into HomeGoods, but I haven't...your post has inspired me to check it out...as soon as I'm able to get out & drive on the roads again! LOL
Congrats on your team's big win! We are a house divided here - Alabama (him) & Florida (me) - but we were both pulling for an SEC win last night! =)
Girl your home is Amazing!!!!! You have done an incredible job!! I just found your blog and I am just smitten!!! say hello to your newest follower!!!
ReplyDeleteI recently found your blog, and just love it! You have an amazing vision for decor and art. I wish you lived by me, I would invite you over in a heartbeat to help me decorate!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on that win...it was a real nail-biter for sure!!! Those white urns are great and they would have never made it to the clearance isle at my Homegoods :)
