Anyway, I am making some changes at the abode while simultaneously decorating for Christmas! Photos to come by the end of the weekend.
Here is one of my new items purchased for the party! It's the oh-so-popular West Elm Andalusia rug. I needed something OTHER than tile in this space-- I wanted something that would compliment the rug in the living room, which is shades of yellow as well.
Have a wonderful night, more updates to come by the end of the weekend!

Oh how pretty...just the perfect piece!!
ReplyDeleteAdore the rug. Perfect for your space.
ReplyDeleteLove love it!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great rug. I bought the same one in a 5 X 8 for my entry but it was getting a little too much traffic from my kids friends coming in and out. I moved it to my guest room/home office and love it there.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteLaurel a very favorite color and the design is perfect!!
ReplyDeleteI have a $200 Giveaway from Fifi Flowers!

I love it. I want something similar for our entry hall, but I am afraid as soon as the Boston winter hits it will look terrible.
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephanie! Just a heads up, you can flip this baby over and it looks exactly the same on both sides! So- if you wanted to have a "winter/dingy" side- you totally could!
ReplyDeleteLooks perfect in that spot! I've thought about putting a rug in our kitchen--but we are so messy, it would have to be a dark one?!
ReplyDeleteHi!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your new rug... it looks terrific where you've placed it!
I'll be back to check out your other upgrades and tweaks at the end of the weekend!!
I wanted to come over and thank you for all your lovely comments. It means a lot that you would take the time to let me know your thoughts!!
Good Luck with your decorating, your party sounds like so much fun :)

ReplyDeleteyou know what's so funny?! i was totally gonna comment you should put some kind of yellow accent in the kitchen and got nervous to say anything since you're SO good at designing. You read my mind!
