Remember this post about my amazing overstock.com finds? Well, the sink and faucet are in.... and boy are they an attractive couple. They're what I like to call a "power couple" much like Zack Efron and Vanessa Hudgens... Jen Aniston and Brad Pitt when everything was right in the world.... and of course... Bella and Edward... (sigh)

 

and here is my personal power couple....

TA-DA!

the sink is deep, masculine, smooth and is happy to pick up all the crap... and the faucet deserves it. She is curvy in all the right places... and exudes some serious flowing appeal... match made in heaven... 

Here is what we did to get to this point....

Colonel Dad came over and helped Mr.Hubbs out with the plumbing- Here they are installing the drain with plumber's putty... we used our old drain as we needed it to be used as a disposal... so glad we didn't go out and purchase another- it looked great after a little scrubbing!

and then came the faucet... 

and then- they installed the disposal. Since our sink is an undermount, our granite guys told us that we should probably build a support for the disposal to rest on... just in case! Here are the men cutting wood... and cleaning up the mess at the same time!
